I am so excited about these lamps I have created. I found a Soapstone Quarry that has been mining in Virginia for over a century. They make me wonderful lamp bases from their Soapstone.
Then I do my thing and marry them with copper pipes and solid brass fittings. Pull chain socket. Like icing on a cake, I wire them with cord that is made here in the USA. I am proud that I am finding sources for new lighting that are made here in the USA.
Topped with simple shaped shades made from an array of wonderful papers that come from around the world and here in the USA.
Then like icing on a cake, I add a fabulous stone or glass finial to finish it off.
Simple and elegant these lamps have a place in any decor.
Bases are 5" square and the lamp to the top of the socket is 23" tall.
Max wattage is 60.
The Soapstone is natural and NOT finished, as well as all the metals used. They will age and change color in time.
